  • Very beautiful, peaceful cemetery with lots of history.

  • It was great to be part of the last family to live IN the cemetary from 1959-1974!

  • George A. Custer is buried here. Custer's last stand! Learning this in history and just beginning it.

  • My Mom was born and grew up on Homestead Ave. barely outside the gates of West Point. She married one of the cadets, who has been buried inside the gates for over 15 years now. She lives with us in California and will soon be 96. It won't be too long before she completes her circle of life and returns to lay next to my father only blocks from where she started. Truly God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to behold.

  • A must add to any bucket list. The beauty of the surroundings combined with the graves of some of our countries greatest heroes add to a memorable event. A must see is the chapel on the South Side. My Uncle is buried beneath the big tree. Goodnight sweet prince. We still miss you.
